I guess it’s because the content gets rendered at runtime. When you open a page with the albums on it the images and the text is fetched from google, it’s not saved within Wordpress somewhere. I’ll take it on the list for the next update. Maybe you can get it working with a Cache-Plugin for WordPress if you can’t wait (and it can last a little bit, cause I’m moving right now).

First, Buslain: the userid is the id you have a Picasa, you can find it in the link to your albums, in the URL is your usename.

MY QUESTION: why can’t i search the text on my page from this album overview ? http://rcheli.dk/pictures2/ it would be very nice if i could search for the album texst on the album overview !!! i don’t get why it is not working ??

Thanks Simon, as you say in the email you wrote me, the solution is in the name of the album, I put the whole name of the album (this without the instantwiew option runs correctly) but its better and necessary “to use the shortened name that picasa generates for your album, not the original one. You can see it when click on an album on picasaweb and look at the url,”
So is:
[picasaView album="NameOfTheAlbum" instantView='yes']
instead of:
[picasaView album="Name Of The Album" instantView='yes']

Hi Simon!

Ich habe nach längerem Suchen endlich dieses Plugin für Picasa entdeckt und sehr schätzen gelernt.
Komischerweise hat sich der Textfluss etwas geändert, wie du an meiner Seite sehen kannst. Vorher wurde das Vorschaubild “umflossen”, also es stand gleich rechts daneben der Text. Jetzt steht der Text nur unterhalb, und der Platz rechts neben dem Bild steht frei.
Hast du einen Tipp für mich an was das liegen könnte?
Natürlich gibt es auch ein “Donate” für deine bemühungen.
